Our processes

From yarn to a folded unstitched suit

Weaving, printing, khatli handwork, computerised multi-needle embroidery, cutting and packing all happen in our own premises at Sumel Business Park 2, Ahmedabad. That is the whole reason a 12-set minimum is possible: we are not buying finished dress material from somebody else and re-selling it to you.

  1. Khatli hand embroidery

    Karigars work the panel on a wooden khatli frame. Zardosi, sequin and thread work is placed by hand, so the density around the neckline and border is decided per design rather than by a machine file.

  2. Machine embroidery

    For volume lots the same motif is digitised and run on multi-head machines. Stitch density is held constant across the lot, which is what keeps a 12-set minimum looking like one consistent shipment.

  3. Cutting & stitching

    Pattern layouts are cut so the print repeat lands where it should on the yoke and the dupatta pallu. Seams are reinforced at the points that fail first in retail.

  4. Dyeing & digital printing

    Colourfast dyeing, then high-resolution digital printing on our own base fabric. Shade cards are matched lot to lot so a re-order does not arrive a tone away.

Quality

What we check before a lot ships

Shade across the lot

Every piece in a dispatch is compared against the lot's own shade card, not against the original sample, so a 12-set box does not arrive in two tones.

Embroidery density

Handwork is checked at the neckline and border, where thin work shows first on a hanger.

Print registration

The repeat has to land in the same place on every yoke and every dupatta pallu.

Count and fold

Sets are counted twice and folded to a fixed size so your counter display stays uniform.
